Senior Messaging Architect with interest in Unified Communications
SKT is seeking experienced messaging consultants with a strong desire to complement their Exchange and messaging skills with voice and Unified Communications skills around Office Communication Server. This position would allow an opportunity to provide enterprise level messaging services. Additionally, SKT can provide training and hands-on experience with enterprise Unified Messaging, Unified Communications and OCS voice consulting engagements. This is a unique opportunity to expand your skills and expertise in a broader UC environment.
The position is focused on designing, Implementing, and Supporting Microsoft message and collaboration solutions consist with Exchange Server 2007/2010 and Unified Messaging. Focus on voice integration, conferencing and remote worker capabilities. Position will require that a successful engineer be comfortable:
- Speaking with customers to gathering technical and business requirements.
- Acting as a technical team member on Microsoft projects.
- Building and executing project plans working closely with customers to understand and manage project expectations.
Design, Vision and Scope, Strategy and Technical Documents
Accountable for a high degree of solution architecture and design responsibilities with technical skills in one or more of the following areas of expertise:
- Understand customer environment and define business requirements with practice manager
- Develop architectural/functional design document based on existing or new requirements
- Connect solutions and technical information to customer’s requirements and environments
- Design and implement prototype, or proof of concept, to test solutions
- Deliver engagements as an individual contributor, technical subject matter expert or as a team member on projects
- Provide advice (knowledge transfer) to the customer and partners
- Prepare documentation as required
- Familiarity with project management Methodologies
Technical Skills
Have current and experience with implementation of enterprise infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft Exchange architecture migrations with 2003, 2007 & 2010. Qualifications include hands-on experience with and one or more of the following areas:
- Email archiving architecture
- DNS, Active Directory Global Cataloging, SMTP Routing
- Experience in 3rd party Anti-Spam & Messaging
- SharePoint infrastructure Builds & implementations
- Experience with Email Archiving;
- Knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server Structure and implementation
- Cluster Continuous Replication [CCR], Standby cluster replication [SCR], Single copy cluster [SCC], Local Continuous Replication [LCR]
Education and Professional Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Equivalent.
- One or more of the following certifications; MCSE, MCSA, MSDBA, MCSD, MCAD, MSF, MOF or CISSP
- Highly proficient & customer facing project experience involving technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment.
- Must have a proven record of delivering technical solutions
